Industrial gearbox repairs
Although modern industrial gearboxes are technically advanced and versatile units capable of operating for up to one hundred thousand hours, some of their components may eventually begin to wear.

Why should gearboxes be reconditioned?
Gear transmissions are subject to heavy-duty operation, which gradually wears the mating components. Increased noise, vibration or oil leakage may indicate that a machine gearbox requires repair.
Ignoring these warning signs may lead to serious failures and, ultimately, a complete production stoppage. To avoid costly downtime and even more expensive replacement of entire units, regular technical inspections are essential. If defects are identified during inspection, industrial gearbox repair is recommended.
How do we recondition gearboxes?
JAMET uses advanced equipment for gearbox reconditioning. We use, among other equipment, precision devices for diagnosing faults, testing and repairing all types of gearboxes. This allows us to carry out comprehensive industrial gearbox repairs regardless of gearbox size or type. We use a CAD/CAM system, which enables us to achieve the best possible results when CNC machining gearbox components.
After receiving an order, our specialists transport the unit to our shop, where the damage is assessed and the components are cleaned. We carry out detailed diagnostics using specialist instruments, allowing us to determine the scope of the required work precisely.
Gearbox repair at our shop may also include an analysis of the causes of failure. The repair scope is discussed with the customer, and damaged components are either replaced with new ones or reconditioned, depending on their condition and degree of wear. Every industrial gearbox repair is completed with a series of necessary quality tests before the unit is transported back to the customer.
